An comic exploration of masculinity, male body image and sexuality told from the perspective of Cormac who is struggling to come to terms with the fact that at 6 foot tall and over 22 stone, maybe he’s not the spritely little twink he thought he was.

While attending a work colleague’s wake, Jim Murtagh strikes up a conversation with the colleague’s very close friend. What starts as a friendly chat soon opens the floodgates to decades of repression as Jim begins gets to the bottom of what it is he truly wants out of his remaining years on this earth.

Male Order Bride

Eugene has always wanted to make his over bearing mother proud. On her deathbed, he made a promise to her to find a girl and settle down. But he stands on the precipice of a life changing decision, awaiting the arrival of his Mail Order Bride from Russia, and slowly coming to terms with the fact that maybe this all wasn’t such a good idea.

A comedy about Irish dancing, bitter rivalries and Satanism against the backdrop of the local girl’s under nine freestyle feis championship.

Performed as part of 10X10 at the Cork Arts Theatre, Cork in November 2022

Togetherness
(Short play)

A comedy that chronicles the quickly changing dynamics of the crumbling relationship when the couple are attacked by a mugger at knifepoint.

Performed as part of Views From A Harbour at the Cork Arts Theatre in April 2019, as well as in the Accidental Theatre in Belfast as part of their No Touching Theatre Festival in 2020

The Talk
(Short Play)

THE TALK is a comedy chronicling the life-changing sit down conversation between father and son that takes place after father DENNIS walks in on teenage son BARRY in bed with another man and the troubling secrets that emerge which threaten to shatter this once proud Loyalist family.

Performed as in the Oso Theatre, London in December 2018
